Answering Calls

To answer an incoming call with the flip open:
1.
Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incoming calls
go to voicemail.)
2.
Press
your phone's settings, you may also answer incoming calls by
opening the phone or by pressing any number key. See "Setting
Any Key Answer" on page 57 for more information.)
To answer an incoming call with the flip closed:
1.
Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incoming calls
go to voicemail.)
2.
When your phone rings or vibrates, press and hold the Side Call
key (
answered in speakerphone mode.)

Open the phone to use the earpiece.
Note:
If the setting for Open Flip is not set to "Answer Call," opening the phone
will not answer the call. (See "Setting the Open/Close Flip Option" on page 56.)
Your Sanyo SCP-8200 Phone notifies you of incoming calls in the
following ways:
The phone rings or vibrates.
The LED flashes.
The backlight illuminates.
The screen displays an incoming call message.
If available, the phone number of the caller is displayed.
If the phone number is in your Contacts list, the contact's name is
displayed.
