TROUBLESHOOTING

Faults
Engine does not crank when the elec-
tric starter button is pressed
Engine turns only if the clutch lever is
drawn
Engine turns but does not start
Engine has too little power

Battery is discharged
Fuse 1, 2 or 3 blown
Main fuse burned out
No ground connection present
The vehicle is in gear
