Latch Hook Assembly, Stop Switch,
Secondary Interlock Switch, and Monitor
Switch Replacement:
1)
Drawer Microwave must be removed from its
installation. See Drawer Microwave Disassembly
(page 4-6).
DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL SUPPLY BEFORE
ATTEMPTING THIS PROCEDURE.
DANGEROUS HIGH VOLTAGE CAN BE PRESENT -
CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS AT
THE BEGINNING OF THIS SECTION. (PAGE 4-2)

Remove latch hook assembly screw. (Figure 4-15)
3)
Lift assembly enough to allow tab (see Figure 4-15)
to be removed from the tab slot.
4)
Disconnect wire leads of each switch.
5)
Remove each switch from the latch hook by
depressing stopper tab (1), rotate switch (2) until
switch clear of bracket holding clips. (Figure 4-16)
NOTE: Care must be taken not to break plastic stopper
tab or holding clips.
6)
Reinstall each switch in its place. The Secondary
Interlock Switch is in the lower position and the
Monitor Switch is in the top position, located on the
left side of the unit. The Stop Switch by itself on the
right side of the unit.
7)
Re-connect wire leads to each switch. Refer to
pictorial diagram.
8)
Secure latch hooks with mounting screws to oven
fl ange.
9)
Make sure that the monitor switch is operating
properly and check continuity of the monitor circuit.
Refer to "Trouble Shooting" section and "Adjustment
procedure.
NOTE: PLEASE SEE "AFTER SERVICING" (Page 4-6)
