Inner Drawer, Choke Cover and Rack Gear
Removal:
SHUT OFF BREAKER THAT SUPPLIES ELECTRICAL
POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE INNER
DRAWER ASSEMBLY.
1)
Open drawer to gain access to drawer support
covers and gently pry covers out of choke cover to
expose side rail mounting screws. (Figure 4-4)
2)
Using a phillips screw driver, remove 6 screws (2
ea. side & 2 for bottom) that fasten drawer support
angles to drawer front. (Figure 4-5)
3)
Once screws are removed you can give a little
outward pressure to screw end of drawer support
angles to disengage them from the drawer front tabs.
4)
Carefully set inner drawer assembly on a protected
surface.
5)
Choke cover snaps onto the inside of Inner Drawer
Front and can now be easily removed by carefully
unsnapping the clips around the edge of the Drawer
front.
NOTE: Do not exert too much outward pressure or
Choke cover clips will snap off.
6)
Once the inner drawer is removed, rack gear and
center drawer support angle can be removed.
7)
Press latch to the side while applying pressure to the
top section of the slide. (Figure 4-6)
8)
Push top section of slide toward unit until top is
disengaged from latch.
9)
Slowly pull the inner drawer assembly out of the unit
keeping it as level as possible to prevent damage to
slide or servo motor assembly.
NOTE: PLEASE SEE "AFTER SERVICING" (Page 4-6)
WHEN REPAIR COMPLETE.
