Moving on to measurement sessions

From the Template View and Edit windows it is possible to switch to the Measurements
session windows by pressing the "Go to Measurements Session" button, this can be done
from any of the four template windows.
The system will prompt the operator to choose the directory and file name in BPD format
in which the measurement session and all measured values will be saved. After this
operation, the session file will be saved and available for the operator to view and execute,
without the need to open the corresponding template, recalling it by means of the
measurement session selection function, described in section 4.3.1.

Saving a template

From the Template View and Edit windows it is possible to save information about a new
template by pressing the "Save Template" button, this can be done from any of the four
template windows.
The system will prompt the operator to enter the name of the template. The template file
will be saved in a directory accessible only to the programme and not available directly
to the operator, but visible and usable only through the Polares 32 programme. If a
template name already exists, the operator will be asked whether he/she wants to
overwrite the template or not.

Entering custom measurements from file

As indicated in section 4.2.3, among the measurement methods that can be selected on
the system, there is also the option "Tomography from file (4 electrodes)", which allows
the operator to customise as much as possible the sequence of measurements to be
performed in a session.
The operator must prepare a text file (.txt) containing the information in the required
format and upload it to the system. The file will be checked, and if correct, the information
contained in it will be placed in the measurement table of the template and from then on
made available using this template as the basis for creating measurement sessions.
Selecting the "Tomography from file (4 electrodes)" method displays the "Load File"
button and the information about the name of the measurement file loaded. Pressing the
button will prompt the operator to select the input text file. When the file is uploaded, it
will be checked for correctness and, if necessary, the operator will be notified of the error.
