Assembly - Ariens LM18S Owner's/Operator's Manual

Read, understand, and follow all safety
practices in Owner/Operator Manual before
beginning.
1. Remove the mower and other components from
shipping container.
2. Unfold the handlebar and secure with knobs.
3. Assemble grass bag onto bag frame.

4. Configure mower for bagging or mulching. See
Mower Configurations in Operation Section.

ASSEMBLY

5. Fill engine crankcase with oil.
IMPORTANT: Engines on all models are shipped
without oil in crankcase. Refer to Engine Manual for
proper type oil and crankcase capacity.
6. Fill fuel tank. See Operation Section.
7. Check Safety Interlock System.
See Engine/Blade Control in Operation section of
this manual.
8. Check function of all controls.
