Using the Mode Dial

The Mode Dial is provided on top of the camera.
Turn the Mode Dial to select the camera operation mode such as
shooting, playback (still image display), or setting change.

Hold down the Unlock button
while turning the Mode Dial to the
mark of your desired mode.

Up-down Dial/ADJ. Dial

The up-down dial and ADJ. dial allow
you to perform various operations easily
together with the !"#$ buttons.
Turn the up-down and ADJ. dials as
shown.

Mode Name
Use this to record sounds or to shoot text.
Use this to set the shutter speed and aperture
manually.
Use this to set the aperture manually. The camera
automatically sets the shutter speed corresponding to
the manually set aperture.
Use this to change the combination of aperture and
shutter speed.
