PIP (Picture-In-Picture, SCL630/L650 only)
The PIP(Picture-In-Picture) feature works in combination with the
DIGITAL ZOOM function by using a small, superimposed screen to
show an image that is wider than the image being recorded. This
should help you to get a more clear idea of what you are recording.

The PIP function works in CAMERA mode only.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode and
LOCK/STANDBY switch to STANDBY mode.
2. Turn on DIGITAL ZOOM. (see page 31)
3. Press the MENU ON/OFF button, the MENU
List will be displayed.
4. Turn the UP/DOWN dial until PIP..........OFF
is highlighted.
5. Press ENTER, the PIP ON and a small screen
should appear.
6. Check which part you are recording on the
PIP screen, and turn the Zoom button to "T"
position to activate the DIGITAL ZOOM mode.
Start recording by pressing the
START/STOP button when the portion
you want to record appears.
7. Setting PIP......ON to OFF in the MENU will make the small screen
disappear and switch the PIP mode off.
Note:
When you use PIP function while making a recording,
the PIP screen will be recorded on the Tape.
The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in EASY, REC
or CUSTOM mode.
PIP function will not operate in DSE mode.

La fonction PIP (Image sur Image) fonctionne avec la fonction ZOOM
NUMÉRIQUE en incrustant un petit écran qui montre une image plus
large que l'image filmée. Ceci doit vous permettre d'avoir une
meilleure idée de ce que vous êtes en train de filmer.

La fonction PIP est disponible uniquement en mode Caméscope.
1. Placez le commutateur principal sur la posi-
tion CAMERA et le bouton LOCK/STANDBY
sur le mode veille (STANDBY).

2. Activez la fonction Zoom numérique.
(Voir page 31.)
3. Appuyez sur la touche MENU ON/OFF.

4. Sélectionnez l'option PIP.....OFF à l'aide du
DIS........................OFF

5. Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
ENTER
La fonction PIP est activée (ON) et un petit
écran apparaît.

6. Contrôlez quelle partie vous filmez sur
CUSTOM
SET
CLOCK
SET
l'écran PIP et tournez le bouton Zoom sur
TITLE
SET
la position "T" pour activer le mode Zoom

PIP........................ON
D.ZOOM ..............OFF
7. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche ENTER pour désactiver la
fonction PIP (OFF) et faire disparaître l'écran PIP.
Remarque:
l'écran PIP est enregistré sur la bande s'il est affiché
pendant le tournage.
La fonction MENU ON/OFF n'est pas disponible en
mode EASY, REC ou CUSTOM.
La fonction PIP nést pas disponible en mode DSE.
FRANÇAIS
Appuyez sur la touche START/STOP
pour commencer à filmer lorsque la par-
tie souhaitée apparaît dans l'écran PIP.
