Tip: Computer USB Power Delivery and Battery Charging
Computers will supply current to power the camera or charge the
battery only via an optional UC-E25 USB cable (which has Type C
connectors at both ends) connected to a built-in Type C USB port on
the computer.
• The supplied UC-E24 USB cable (which connects to the camera via a
Type C connector and to USB devices via a Type A connector) cannot
be used for this purpose.
• Connect the USB cable to the camera's USB Power Delivery
connector. The computer will not supply power to the camera when
connected via the USB data connector.
• Depending on the model and product specifications, some
computers will not supply current to power the camera or charge the
battery.
