Playing Videotapes
To find a specific index mark (index search):
1. During playback, or while the videotape is stopped, press SEARCH on the
remote.
2. Use the up and down arrows to point to Index Search/Scan. Press the right
arrow to select it.
3. Enter the index mark number (from 1 to 99).
4. Press the forward or rewind button to begin the search. When the DVD/VCR
finds the mark it will play the tape.
To locate the next available blank, unused segment on a videotape:
1. During playback, or while the videotape is stopped, press SEARCH on the
remote.
2. Use the up and down arrows to point to Blank Search. Press the right arrow
to select it.
3. The DVD/VCR will search for the next blank space on your tape and stop. If
no blank space is found, it will eject the tape.
