For technical questions, please call 1-800-444-3353.
Use the Speed Dial to set the cutting speed
from 1 (slow) to 6 (fast). Use the faster
settings to cut softer workpieces.
Use the Cutting Mode Lever to set one
of the following cutting modes:
a. Straight cutting. Set the Lever to "O". The
blade travels vertically up and down only.
b. Orbital cutting. Set the Lever to "I", "II", or "III".
The blade travels in a circular motion, up and
down and forward and backward. The higher
the number, the larger the orbit of the blade.
Note: Do not use the Orbital settings
to cut metal or hardwoods.
NOTICE: Do not adjust the cutting mode
while the saw is operating.
8. Do not force the Jigsaw to cut faster
than it is designed to cut. Feed the Saw
Blade gradually into the workpiece.
9. Turn off the Jigsaw if the Saw Blade is to be
backed out of an uncompleted cut. When turning
off the Jigsaw, allow the Saw Blade to fully stop
on its own before removing the Jigsaw. Do
not press against the Saw Blade to stop it.
10. Once the cutting job is completed, release the
Trigger and wait until the Saw Blade stops. If
using the Lock on feature, press and release
the Trigger to turn off the Jigsaw. Press the
Laser ON/OFF Button to turn the Laser off.
11. To prevent accidents, unplug the Power Cord
from its electrical outlet. Clean, then store
the tool indoors out of children's reach.
