Set the motor overheat protection. (Pr. 9) (Refer to page 32.)
Set the motor capacity and the number of motor poles.

NOTE
 Uneven rotation slightly increases as compared to the V/F control. (It is not suitable for machines such as grinding
machine and wrapping machine which requires less uneven rotation at low speed.)
 When a surge voltage suppression filter (FR-ASF-H/FR-BMF-H) is connected between the inverter and motor, output
torque may decrease.
REMARKS
 Use Pr. 89 to adjust the motor speed fluctuation at load fluctuation.
Perform secure wiring.

Set the motor. (Pr. 71)

Set the rated motor current (A) in Pr.9 Electronic thermal O/L relay.
Set motor capacity (kW) in Pr. 80 Motor capacity and
the number of motor poles (number of poles) in Pr. 81 Number of motor poles.
(V/F control is performed when the setting is "9999" (initial value).
Set the rated motor voltage (V) in Pr.83 Rated motor voltage, and
set the rated motor frequency (Hz) in Pr.84 Rated motor frequency.
Set "20" (initial value) in Pr. 800 to make Advanced magnetic flux vector control
valid.
Select the start command and speed command.
(1) Start command
1) Operation panel: Setting by pressing
2) External command: Setting by forward rotation or reverse rotation command
(terminal STF or STR)
(2) Speed command
1) Operation panel: Setting by pressing
2) External analog command: Set by the terminal 2 or the terminal 4
3) Multi-speed command: Set by the external signals (RH, RM, RL)
