If the portable node is already connected to a node or a room on the Internet
③ When connected to the same node or room as the ID of the previous connection history
The current connection ID is displayed in the LCD. To communicate with this
connection, proceed to "Communicating with other station" (page 46).
④ When connected to a node or room different from the previous connection history
The "►" and the current connection ID are displayed on the LCD.
When the DIAL knob is turned, the previous connection ID will blink. In this
case, press the PTT switch to connect to the previous connection ID.
While operating the Portable Node, it may not be possible to switch between "Access Point" and "Direct Operation".
Press and hold the [D X] key to return to the transceiver setting screen, then press the [A/B] (DW) key.
While operating the portable node, the following functions may be set and operated on the portable node FTM-100D
transceiver.
Function
Return to the transceiver setting screen
Adjusts the squelch level
Enters the BACKTRACK screen
Selects the Transmission Power Level
Selects Speaker Mute
Turning the display ON and OFF
Disconnects a node or a room on the Internet
⿟ Setting the speaker mute
The audio output to the speaker of the node station FTM-100D transceiver can be muted, it cannot be set in Direct
Operation.
Touch the [A/B] (DW) key each time toggles the mute mode as follows.
 MUTE OFF  MUTE ALL MUTE TX  MUTE RX  MUTE OFF ・・・
MUTE OFF:
Disable mute.
MUTE ALL:
Mute both the received voice from the C4FM digital station and the voice from the node station on the
Internet.
MUTE RX:
Mute the received voice from the C4FM digital station.
MUTE TX:
Mute the voice from the node station on the Internet.
Key or Dial
Press and hold the D X key
Press the SQL (VOICE) key, then rotate the DIAL knob
Press the DISP (SETUP) key
Press the TX PO key or press the P4 key on the microphone (By
default setting)
Press the A/B (DW) key
Press and hold the DISP (SETUP) key
Press and hold the * key on the microphone
