The air conditioner does not operate.
(Multi-monitor lamp is off.)
• Has the circuit breaker been tripped or the fuse blown?
• Is there a power failure?
• A re batteries set in the remote controller?
• I s the timer setting correct?
The room does not cool down/warm up.
• A re the air fi lters dirty?
• I s there anything blocking the air inlet or air outlet of
the indoor unit or outdoor unit?
• I s the set temperature appropriate?
• I s the airfl ow rate setting appropriate?
• I s the adjustment of the airfl ow direction appropriate?
• I s a window or door open?
• Is the air conditioner in ECONO operation or
OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation?
An abnormal functioning happens
during operation.
• T he air conditioner may malfunction with lightning or
radio waves. Turn off the circuit breaker, turn it on
again and try operating the air conditioner with the
remote controller.
Operation stopped suddenly.
(Multi-monitor lamp is blinking.)
• A re the air fi lters dirty?
Clean the air fi lters.
• I s there anything blocking the air inlet or air outlet of
the indoor unit or outdoor unit?
Stop operation and after turning off the circuit breaker,
remove the obstruction. Then restart operation with
the remote controller. If the multi-monitor lamp is still
blinking, check the error code and consult your dealer.
• Are operation modes all the same for indoor units
connected to outdoor units in the multi system?
If not, set all indoor units to the same operation mode
and confi rm that the lamps blink.
Moreover, when the operation mode is in AUTO, set all
indoor unit operation modes to COOL or HEAT for a
moment and check again that the lamps are normal. If
the lamps stop blinking after the above steps, there is
no malfunction.

Upper and lower front panels do not
open. (Multi-monitor lamp is blinking.)
• Is there something caught in the upper and lower front
panels?
Remove the object and attempt operation again using
the remote controller.
If the upper and lower front panels still do not open
and the multi-monitor lamp is still blinking,
consult the dealer where you bought the air
conditioner.
Upper front panel does not close
completely.
• A re the upper front panel locks set appropriately?
Mist comes out of the indoor unit.
• T his happens when the air in the room is cooled into
mist by the cold airfl ow during COOL or other
operation.
