ACT LED and interface LEDs

Meaning of ACT LED
The ACT LED is located next to the memory card slot and indicates write/read accesses to
the SIMATIC memory card.

LED flickers
If you remove the SIMATIC memory card during a write operation, the following problems
may occur:
● The data content of a file is incomplete.
● The file is no longer readable or no longer exists.
● The entire data content is corrupted.

Cyclic communication is not yet fully active.
Possible causes:
The controller is not transferring setpoints.
