Positioning and moving the cookware
Use only one item of cookware. The cooking area de-
pends on the size and position of the cookware.
Each cooking area has a predefined power level:
Front area = Power level 9

Center area = Power level 5

You can change the power levels in the basic settings.

Turn the right control knob to a different power level.

You can use the Kitchen timer to set a time of up to
99 minutes.
The Kitchen timer is independent from other settings and
does not switch off a cooking zone.

WARNING
Clean Cooktop With Caution.
If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot
cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn.
Some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to
a hot surface.
Do not clean the appliance while it is still hot.
CAUTION
Do not use any kind of cleaner on the glass while the sur-
face is hot; use only the glass scraper. The resulting
fumes can be hazardous to your health. Heating the
