Settings related to input

The NDI/NDI|HX signals that can be input to this unit are as follows:

2K
4K

NDI|HX

This unit supports NDI|HX version1 and NDI|HX version2
when the system format set on AV-UHS500 is 2K mode.
Both NDI|HX version1 and NDI|HX version2 support H.264 as
the image compression standard.

Input signal settings

When the unit is connected to an option slot in AV-UHS500,
you can set IN-A1 to 4 (or IN-B1 to 4).
When setting NDI input signals, first set the input signal you
want to set in the Input sub menu.
1 Press the button to light its indicator, and display

the Input menu.
2 Use [F1] to display the Input sub menu.
3 Use [F2] to select the input signals using the Select
item.
The menu display is switched in accordance with the input
signals which have been selected.
The menu title is set to "MENU: Input (signal type)/input
connector (material name)".

Notes
p p If the system mode of AV-UHS500 is 4K, NDI input
signals can be assigned to IN-A1/IN-B1.
p p If the system mode of AV-UHS500 is 2K, NDI|HX input
signals can be assigned to IN-A3, IN-A4/IN-B3 or
IN-B4.
Maximum inputs
4 This is the maximum number of inputs when only NDI signals are input.
Up to 2 NDI|HX signals can be mixed.
NDI|HX input is not possible.

4 Use [F1] to display the Settings sub menu.
5 Use [F4] to select the mode to use for searching for NDI
input source on the network.

HX v1
6 Press [F5] (Execute) in the Scan item to execute the
machine search.
p The search results are displayed in a list in the format
MACHINE NAME(SOURCE NAME).
p Machine searches on a network may take some time.
7 Select combination of the device to be set as the
input source and the NDI image source with [F2], then
confirm with [F4].
p This can be unselected by selecting "None".
