Type II:
1. Temperature Control
2. Recirculation
3. A/C (Air Conditioning)

Operation
Temperature Control : Turn the temperature
control knob clockwise or counterclockwise
to increase or decrease the set temperature.
Fan Controls : For type I, the air
conditioning speed can be controlled
between OFF and the highest air speed
(the fourth gear) by rotating the fan
controls knob.
For type II, press the left or right side of the
fan control button to increase or decrease
the fan speed. The number of lit indicators
above the button indicates the air speed,
and when no indicator is on, the fan is
turned off.
Air delivery mode controls : Turn the air
delivery mode controls knob clockwise or
counterclockwise to select the desired air
delivery mode.
Climate Controls
The air delivery modes listed below can be
selected:
: Air is directed to instrument panel
outlets.

: Air is directed to floor outlets and
instrument panel outlets.
: Air is directed to floor outlets.
: Air is directed to windshield, front door
windows and floor outlets.
0
: Clears the windows of fog or moisture.
Air is directed to the windshield.
A/C (Cooling) : Press button A/C to start
cooling. Activation is indicated by the LED
lamp in the button. Cooling is only
functional when the engine is running and
the fan is turned on.
Press button A/C again to turn off cooling.
If no cooling or drying is required, turn off
the cooling system for fuel saving reasons.
Activated cooling might inhibit Autostops.
: Press button
to turn on
recirculation. Air is recirculated to quickly
cool the inside of the vehicle or to reduce
the entry of outside air and odors.
