Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
System
If there is a decrease in the Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) operating range, or the door
locks do not operate, it may be caused by
the following reasons:
The transmitter may be too far from the
vehicle.
Other vehicles or objects may be blocking
the signal.
The transmitter has run out of battery or
the level is low. See Battery
Replacement later in this section.
The transmitter needs to be synchronized
due to frequent and repeated use out of
range.
The door lock system is overloaded due
to repeated operation within a short
period of time and the power has been
temporarily cut off.
There may be interference by other radio
signals.
If the transmitter is still not working
correctly, see your dealer or a qualified
technician for service.
