Set up the printer using the printer default IP
address
Use this procedure to set up printing with a 5700 Ethernet transmitter and an Epson
TM-T88VI printer using the printer's default IP address.
Procedure
1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable and power supply to the printer.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the PC.
3. Power on the printer.
4. Turn off DHCP if it is enabled.
5. Configure the IP address.
6. Configure the subnet mask.

It can take 1-2 minutes for the printer to finish configuring network settings. When
complete, the following ticket prints.

From the display
a. Go to Menu → Configuration → Ethernet
Settings → Network Settings → Auto
obtain IP(DHCP).
b. Select Disabled and Save.
c. Back out to the Ethernet Settings page
to apply the DHCP off setting.
a) Navigate to one of the following screens:

Go to Menu → Configuration → Ethernet
Settings → Network Settings → IP
address.
b) Set the IP address to

a. Go to Device Tools → Configuration → 
Network Settings.
b. Uncheck Obtain an IP address
automatically (DHCP).
c. Select Apply.
