≥Release protection (disc l right, cartridge l right, card l right).

≥Insert a disc or card.
≥Press [DRIVE SELECT] to select the drive (DVD or SD).

Press [FUNCTIONS].

Select "Other Functions" with [
[ENTER].

Select "DVD Management" or "Card
Management" with [
≥When SD has been selected, "Format memory card" only is
displayed.

Use [ 3 , 4 ] to select a desired item and press
[ENTER].
You can change various settings.
≥After this operation, follow the desired operation.

Providing a disc with a name

≥Follow steps 1 to 3 of "DVD and card Management".

Select "Disc Name" with [
[ENTER].
Refer to "Entering text" (l 58).
≥The disc name is displayed in the DVD Management window.
≥With a finalized discs and +RW, the name is displayed on the Top
Menu.

Setting the protection

[RAM]
≥Follow steps 1 to 3 of "DVD and card Management".
This allows you to protect the whole disc from accidental erasure
and release disc protection.

Select "Disc Protection" with [
[ENTER].

Note: Protected discs cannot be renamed
or have their content changed,
but can still be re-formatted.

position, you cannot record to, edit, or erase

–Delete All Titles

≥Follow steps 1 to 3 of "DVD and card Management".
Once deleted, the recorded contents are lost and cannot be
restored. Make certain before proceeding.

≥A message appears when finished.

Notes
≥Deleting all video titles will result in all playlists also being deleted.
≥Delete does not work if one or more titles are protected.
