General product maintenance
Do a general inspection.
Clean the product.
Make sure that nuts and screws are tightened.
Make sure that the "STOP" button operates correctly and is not defective.
Examine the battery for damage.
Examine the battery charger for damage and make sure that it operates correctly.
Examine the connections between the battery and the product. Also examine the
connection between the battery and the battery charger.
Examine the vibration damping units for damage.
Examine the tension of the V-belt and look for damages. Adjust or replace the V-belt
as necessary.
To clean the product
•
Use running water from a hose or compressed air to
clean the product.
CAUTION:
electrical components, the battery or the
motor.

Remove grease and oil from the handle.
•
Clean the battery with a dry cloth. Keep the battery
guide tracks clean.
•
Disconnect the battery charger from the mains
outlet. Clean the battery charger with a dry cloth.
