Performing ECal Calibrations
Determine which calibration type you need to perform. Locate the
information about that type of calibration on the following pages, then
proceed with the required steps.
The ECal system starts the calibration process. Upon completion, the

selected module is underlined in the VNA menu. The VNA will give you
the message to Connect Std. If one module covers the frequency range
setting of the VNA, disregard this message as you have completed this
part of the process and may proceed to save the calibration.

Required Procedure for All Calibrations

For any calibration type, complete the following steps before starting
the calibration procedure.
Use Port A on the ECal module
For each calibration procedure, unless otherwise specified, use Port A
on the calibration module for all 1-port calibrations. Although module
Ports A and B are interchangeable for single port measurements, the
preferred port is Port A.
Enter all VNA settings
1. Set up the VNA as required.
Choose the ECal module
2. Select the appropriate ECal module(s) for frequency range and
