With the base unit facing you, the antenna is on the right side of the base unit and it should be

positioned pointing upwards. The handset's charging cradle is on the left side of the base unit. This is

is placed in the cradle with the

1 inch deep depression. For charging, the bottom of the handset

beeps when the handset is set properly in the cradle for charging. To the right of the handset's

charging cradle, in the middle of the base unit, are the two indicators in a vertical row. The top is the

VOICE MAIL indicator. Below is the IN USE indicator. The IN USE indicator is also the CHARGE

or HOLD indicator. Below these indicators is the HANDSET LOCATOR button.
