Safety distance (S) between cooktop and ventilation hood


Risk of heat damage.
The rising heat generated by a gas cooktop may damage the ventilation hood.
Installing this ventilation hood over a gas cooktop is not permitted.
When planning the installation distance between the cooking appliance and the
bottom of the ventilation hood, the information provided by the cooking
appliance manufacturer must be taken into account.
Unless a greater distance is specified by the cooking appliance manufacturer,
the minimum safety distances indicated below must be ensured.
