Recorder Software Installation
Pre-Installation requirements
Before beginning the installation of Nortel TDM Recorder, ensure that you
have the following hardware, software and database requirements. It is also
recommended that you:
Read this Installation Guide before beginning to install Nortel TDM
Recorder.
Set up two logical disk partitions of at least 6 Gigabytes each.
Hardware
Installation CDs
Ai-Logix voice adapter cards and LAN adapter cards installed on the
Recorder server
Minimum of 6 Gigabytes of free disk space.
Note: It is recommended that you create two logical partitions of 6
Gigabytes each, such as C:\ and D:\ drives. This allows applications data
to be installed in one partition, and call data on the other partition.
For zero to 128 channels, a single 2 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM
For 128 to 360 channels, 2 Ghz dual processors with 2GB of RAM
Software
The Recorder Server must have the following software installed:
Windows 2003 Server with SP1.
With Windows 2003, you must also install ASP.NET and DTC. To do
this, select Start > All Programs > Add remove programs > Add
remove Components > Application Server, and ensure that you select
ASP.NET and Enable Network DTC access.
