3 Connect your computer to the VoIP Gateway using one of the following two methods.
• Use an Ethernet cross-over cable to connect the network card on your computer to the
RJ-45 jack on the VoIP Gateway.
• Use a standard Ethernet cable to connect the network card on your computer to a port on a
network hub. Use a second standard Ethernet cable to connect the VoIP Gateway to
another port on the network hub.
4 Open your web browser.
5 In the URL field, enter the default IP address of the VoIP Gateway: http://10.1.10.10.
The Enter Network Password screen appears.

Enter the default User Name and Password.
The default User Name is Admin and the default password is Admin.
Note: The User Name and Password are case sensitive.
Nortel Networks recommends that you change the User Name and Password from their
default values. For information about how to change the User Name and Password, refer
to "Changing the VoIP Gateway password" on page
7 Click the OK button.
8 Click the Quick Setup button.
The Quick Setup screen appears.
