6.10 Viewing system
information

Select Information on the Center
a. Press MENU to enter the menu screen
b. Press the navigation controls 3 or 4 and 2
to enter Information menu

The display shows: System, Wireless and
Wired

Press the navigation controls 3 or 4 and 2 to
select System

The following information will be shown on
the display: the name of the Center,
firmware version and free hard disk space
6.11 Editing track
information
You can edit track title, Album name etc. on the
Center with the remote control.

Press HD on the remote control

Press 3 or 4 and 2 to select the track to be
renamed

Press MENU

"Edit" is shown on the LCD display

Press 3 or 4 and 2 to select Edit
Now you can start editing track information by
following the sequence below: Edit track title '
Edit Artist name ' Edit Album name ' Edit Genre
name

Press the following keys on remote control to
edit track information:
Alpha-
Insert text into the current position.

Move highlight to previous editing

position. If it is already at leftmost
position, press this button to move
to previous screen.
Move highlight to next editing posi-

tion.
Press it briefly to delete the text

before cursor.
OK/2; Confirm the text and enter next
screen.

After completed editing Genre name, the LCD
will shows "Updating..." first and then "Update
success" (if succeed) or "System busy, please
edit later" (if failed).
Helpful hints:
– If no any key is pressed for 60 seconds, the
edit screen will disappear without saving any-
thing.
– The maximum length of editing string is 21-
characters.
– If the recorded tracks is not recognized (see
User Manual section 6.5.1 Recording from
CD), the display will show "Album name: xxx,
to rename, refer to manual." Follow steps
above to edit the track information.
– You can also edit album/playlists name when
browsing album/playlists list:
a. Press HD on the remote control
b. Press 3 or 4 and 2 to select the Album or
Playlists
c. Follow steps 3-6 above to change the
album/playlists name.
After applied the new name, all tracks within
this album/playlist will have the new
album/playlists name
– You may also use the 3 or 4 on Center or
remote control to enter text:
Press it briefly to jump to previous

character; press and hold it to fast
scroll through the character list
Press it briefly to jump to next

character; press and hold it to fast
scroll through the character list
