Pull the empty slide-in module out of the housing.

Loosen the screws (1).
•
Remove the rails from the cover (2).
•
Take the new drive out of its packaging.
•
Adjust the required settings on the drive (if necessary, on already-installed drives as
well).

Do not throw away the cover of the empty slide-in module.
For cooling, protection against fire, and in order to comply
with EMC regulations, you must refit the empty slide-in mod-
ule if you remove the drive again later.
