WHEEL REPLACEMENT

Remove Wheel

IMPORTANT: Retain hardware for reinstallation.
See Figure 39.
1.
Park unit on a flat, level surface.
2.
Stop engine, remove key (if applicable) and wait for all
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to cool.
3.
Position a sturdy support, such as a wood block,
under deck edge on side that wheel is being removed
from.
4.
Remove dust cap from wheel.
5.
Remove shoulder bolt retaining wheel and remove
wheel.
6.
Models 911175, 911177, 911179, 911188, 911189,
911190, 911375, 911379: If replacing a rear wheel,
remove hardware retaining gear and remove gear
from wheel. See Figure 40.

Install Wheel

1.
Models 911175, 911177, 911179, 911188, 911189,
911190, 911375, 911379: If reinstalling a rear wheel,
secure gear to wheel with three plastic tapping
screws. See Figure 40.
2.
Secure wheel to axle plate with shoulder bolt and
reinstall dust cap.

THROTTLE / ENGINE CONTROL
LEVER REPLACEMENT

Remove Throttle / Engine Control Lever

Models 911177, 911189
IMPORTANT: Retain hardware for reinstallation.
1.
Park unit on a flat, level surface.
2.
Stop engine, remove key and wait for all moving parts
to stop and for hot parts to cool.
3.
Remove cable anchor from engine cable bracket and
remove cable end from throttle bracket. See
Figure 41.
4.
Remove hardware retaining throttle control lever to
handlebar and remove lever. See Figure 42.
