8. Remove belt from engine sheave and remove engine
sheave from crankshaft.
9. Remove belt from around crankshaft.
IMPORTANT: Be aware of key in crankshaft.
10. Advance to step 27.

11. Place unit in service position. See Service Position on
page 7.
CAUTION: AVOID INJURY. Use sturdy gloves or
padding to protect hands when handling mower
blades.
12. Hold blade in position and loosen clutch hardware with
an impact wrench. See Figure 9.

13. Remove blade. Refer to Operator's Manual for
instructions.
14. Using a needle nose pliers, compress drive cable
anchor tabs and remove anchor from deck. See
Figure 10.
15. Disconnect drive cable spring from belt guide. See
Figure 11.
