If you installed an 8 Gbps Fibre Channel 4-port host interface card, you must
connect Fibre Channel cables to it.
Procedure
To install the cables, complete the following steps.
1. Connect the required number of Fibre Channel cables. Refer to the "Planning"
section of the information center for instructions on determining the number of
cables required.
Note: Both canisters must have the same number of cables connected.
Figure 30 shows an example configuration with two Fibre Channel cables
connected to each canister.

2. If you want to connect additional Fibre Channel cables, make sure to connect
the same number of cables to each canister. Figure 31 on page 40 shows an
example configuration with four Fibre Channel cables connected to each
canister.
