Connecting an around view monitor
camera (commercially available)
See page 46.
• To use an Around View Monitor (AVM) camera,
connect the AVM unit to the rear view camera input
(R-CAM) and AVM terminal.
• For details about AVM features, see the instruction
manual supplied with the camera.
Watching camera view

Display the camera view.
From the Home screen (page 3), touch as
follows:
The camera view screen of one of the connected
camera is displayed.

Change the camera view.
Touch the upper portion of the screen shown
below.
• Each time you touch, camera view changes
among rear view camera and AV-IN camera.
To display parking guide line
(Only for the rear view camera)
Touch the area shown below, or set <Parking
Guidelines> to [ON] (page 37).
• To close the parking guidelines, touch the same area
again.
To exit the camera screen
Press the HOME button on the monitor panel or touch
the area shown below.
• When the gear is released from the reverse (R)
position, the screen also returns to the previous
playback source screen.
Bluetooth® Device
Bluetooth® Device
You can use the mobile phone and portable audio
player connected through Bluetooth.
• While using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or USB
Mirroring, use their features for hands-free phones
and audio playback.
Note
• While driving, do not perform complicated
operations such as dialing numbers, using the phone
book, etc. When you perform these operations, stop
your car in a safe place.
• To use the Bluetooth function, you need to turn on
the Bluetooth function of the device.
• Some Bluetooth devices may not be used with this
unit depending on the Bluetooth version of the
device.
• When a Bluetooth mobile phone is connected, the
signal strength and battery level are displayed when
the information is acquired from the device.
• If your mobile phone supports PBAP (Phone Book
Access Profile), you can display the following items
on the touch panel when the mobile phone is
connected.
– Phone book
– Dialed calls, received calls, and missed calls (up to
10 entries in total)
• Two devices for Bluetooth mobile phone and one for
Bluetooth audio can be connected at a time.
However, when [Bluetooth Audio] is selected as the
source, you can connect up to five Bluetooth audio
devices and switch between these five devices.
