• Enable "Open ports through VLan on WAN port to the PLC", and enter IP address 10.20.37.x
to act as the IP address of the Modbus server for the ELMS communication. Ensure that the
IP address of the controller on the ELMS side is in the same 10.20.37.y range. Press the
CONFIGURE VLAN button to save the configuration on the router permanently.

Safety loop testing using TRIP line

Carry out the following steps to test the TRIP line:
1. Shut down the charger and disconnect the power source.
2. Adhere to the golden rules of electrical safety for shutdown.
3. Connect the ethernet cable and terminate the trip line cables on SICHARGE.
4. Ensure that the trip line is not activated and that there is a closed contact present on the trip
line.
5. Energize thecharger by providing incoming supply.
