11 tuner mode: In FM mode, this button will toggle between FM Stereo
and FM mono. Select FM Mono (FM STEREO and FM MUTE icons at VFD
are extinguished) for stations that have too much interference or are
too weak. In DAB (European version only) or XM (North America version
only) radio, this button enables the digital radio menus in conjunction
with the Navigation button and ENTER buttons.
At FM/XM/DAB mode, the MENU button also functions the same way as
that of TUNER MODE button.
12 tone: Press to toggle through Bass, Treble, Tone Defeat and Tone
Active options. Use the VOLUME knob to adjust the Bass and Treble
levels. While at either Bass or Treble mode, rotate VOLUME knob
clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the Bass or Treble level within
the range ±12dB.
13 volume: Turn clockwise to increase the master-volume setting;
counter clockwise to lower it. The VOLUME knob is also used to
increment/decrement the Bass and Treble levels.
14 input Selector: Use to select an audio/video input source along
with its assigned analog or digital inputs. Rotate clockwise or counter
clockwise to select - Internal DVD
AM/FM/XM (DAB)
then back to Internal DVD.
15 Surround mode: Toggle to select through the SURROUND MODE
options. See also the section "LISTENING MODE" under "OPERATION
- USING THE VISO TWO – AUDIO SETUP MENU" discussions.
NOTES
• Depending on the format of the currently selected input (digital or
analog), different surround modes will be available.
• For best results when recording to a VCR, select "Mode: Stereo" and "Sub:
Off" in the applicable Setup Menu OSD.

IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS
16 Stop: During disc playback, press this button to STOP and at the same
time PAUSE disc playback – "RESUME" will be shown at the VFD. Press
[PLAY/PAUSE] button to resume play from the spot it was stopped. If [STOP]
button is pressed consecutively during playback, disc playback will fully
stop. At full stop mode, "STOP" will be shown in the VFD for DVD playback,
total number of tracks and total playback time for CD playback and
"CLIPMENU" is displayed in the case of MP3/WMA/JPEG file playback.
17 plaY/pauSe: Press this button to toggle between Play and Pause
of a compatible disc. If the disc tray is open, press this button to
automatically close the tray and start playback if a disc is loaded.
18 open/cloSe: Press this button to open and close the disc drawer and
simultaneously select the internal DVD/CD player. Pressing this button
will also switch ON the VISO TWO from standby mode and at the same
time open the disc tray.
19 diSc traY: With the DISC TRAY open, insert a DVD, VCD, CD or other
compatible media disc face down onto the tray. If the disc is placed
upside down and it is a single sided disc, "NO DISC" appears on both the
VISO TWO's VFD and the TV/Monitor screen.
20 front input: Use these convenience jacks for occasional sources
such as a camcorder, tape player, or a video game console or any
other analog audio, or composite or S-Video video source. Select the
"Front" source input using the HTR 6 remote or the front panel INPUT
SELECTOR knob.
If your source has a single audio out jack only or is marked "mono
output", plug this into the VISO TWO's FRONT INPUT "R (MONO)" input.
On the other hand, if your source has two output jacks indicative of
stereo output, insert both jacks into the VISO TWO's corresponding
FRONT INPUT "L" and "R (MONO)" input to achieve stereo output as well.
21 phoneS: Accepts stereo headphone using a standard 1/4-inchstereo
phone plug (use a suitable adaptor for headphones equipped with a
smaller plug). Plugging in headphones automatically mutes output
from all channels' speakers but not from the AUDIO OUT jacks of the
VCR and SCART OUT (Europe version only). See also the item on DOLBY
