    With DAB, you can receive CD-like quality programs without any annoying interference and signal distortion. 7 mp dock: The VISO TWO is equipped with a data port in the rear panel where an optional “NAD IPD 1 Dock with iPod” (NAD IPD 1) can be plugged in.

    The VISO TWO will power-up from Standby mode at whatever master volume setting it was last used; however, if the prior setting was greater than –15 dB, the VISO TWO will power up at –15 dB. This prevents inadvertently beginning a session at excessive volume.

    [DISPLAY], holding the “DISPLAY” button for more than 7 seconds. The VISO TWO will switch itself off, then back ON to DVD mode. Please note that setting the VISO TWO to factory default will delete all AM, FM and DAB presets. It will also reset all your timer settings.

    Lt/Rt (left/right-total) signals. The following Listening Modes require a specially encoded signal that must be present in digital format to be decoded by the VISO TWO. These modes are automatically switched on when the appropriate data stream is detected.

    INPUT SETTINGS input Aside from the VISO TWO’ s internal DVD, the VISO TWO is also equipped with the following audio/video source inputs - “Cable/Sat”, “VCR” (iPod) and “Front” (Front Input on the front panel). The input becomes active whenever it is selected.

    Depending on the media, the following are other basic features of the VISO TWO’ s internal DVD player. Make sure that you select “DVD” at the Device Selector selection of the HTR 6 before you proceed with the specific function.

    The program function enables you to store your favorite tracks in the player memory. When programming a sequence of tracks, the VISO TWO must be in stop mode. A program can contain up to 30 tracks. To program the sequence 1 Insert a disc.

    The following are the steps on how to setup the internal clock of the VISO TWO, setup the time you wish the VISO TWO to be switched ON from standby mode (ON TIME) or go to standby mode OFF (OFF TIME).

    Ensure that the “DEVICE SELECTOR” setting of your HTR 6 is set to “TUNER”. SETTING RADIO PRESET The VISO TWO can store as many as 60 (30 FM and 30 AM stations) of your favorite radio stations for immediate recall. 1 To store a radio preset, first tune the desired frequency (see above), then press the front panel [MEMORY] button.

    When an RDS-enabled FM broadcast is tuned, after a brief delay the “RDS” icon will light in the VISO TWO’ s front panel readout and the readout’ s character section will show its station-name (PS) text: “ROCK101, ” for example.

    4 After linking together your iPod player, NAD IPD 1 and the VISO TWO, you can now plug them IN to their applicable power sources. 5 With your iPod player, NAD IPD 1 and VISO TWO all at power ON state, rotate INPUT SELECTOR knob to select “iPod” source. The upper line of the VFD will show “iPod”.

    There are two menu options for iPod – Menu mode and Simple mode. At “Menu mode”, iPod navigation will be done and guided through the VFD of the VISO TWO. At “Simple mode” everything will be guided through your iPod’s own display screen as you would do in normal iPod use.

    Contains pre-programmed library of NAD remote codes. The NAD HTR 6 is ready to operate the VISO TWO right out of the box, but it is really eight remotes in one. Each of the 8 Device Selector keys at the top of the handset can call up a new “page” of remote control codes to be transmitted by the remaining 44 keys.

    Each macro can store a maximum of 64 command steps.     The HTR 6 can store learned, copied, and “default library” commands on any single key (The default library commands are the pre-programmed NAD codes, such as the native VISO TWO commands on the [AMP] “page. ” ). You can delete commands by layers back “down” to the default library command on any key, removing learned commands, punched-through functions, and copied keys.

    LOADING CODE LIBRARIES The HTR 6 can store a different library of default NAD codes for each of its Device Selector “pages. ” If the original default library does not control your NAD CD player, DVD player, or other component, follow the procedure below to change the code-library.
