General Notes
When you change an input name in the Name menu and then exit the Name menu:
The name is changed
Activity menu is changed
The icon in the
Audio and video settings are changed to the defaults for the new device type.
837 Series:
All previous NetCommand IR "learning" for the input is erased.
Notes for HDMI devices
Disconnecting an HDMI device:
you remove it. Select Delete in the Inputs > Name menu to remove an unwanted icon for an HDMI input.

New Device Found screen does not display as expected when you connect an HDMI device, see "Reac-
tivating Auto Input Sensing for an HDMI Input," page 11.
HDMI Control and CEC-Enabled Devices:
If case of CEC conflicts:

Turn off the TV's HDMI Control signals to the device.

Turn off each device's internal CEC capability.
