Scanning 35mm Slides

1. Turn the LightLid 35 over. Load the slide into the recessed area at the center of the
LightLid 35, with the slide facing up. Secure the slide by gripping it with the grip
prong provided at the connector side of the recessed area.
2. Place the LightLid 35 with the loaded film on the scan bed. The LightLid 35 can be
placed horizontally at the front edge of the scanner glass bed, or vertically
anywhere on the glass surface, as shown on page 12.
3. Follow the procedures (steps 3 through 7) for scanning 35mm filmstrips to carry
out scanning. For step 4, however, choose Positive Film after you click the
Original button.
For advanced users
Follow the procedures listed in the "For advanced users" section on how to scan
35mm filmstrips.
In step 2, however, choose Positive Film / Positive.
