Preparation:
• T urn O N the T V and set to the video input m ode.
• M ake sure TV/VCR/DVD switch has been slided to V C R /D V D .
T hen press VCR to select the V C R m ode. (T he V C R indicator
will light)

Cassette tape Playback

Load a prerecorded tape
(W hen loading a cassette tape
without the erase prevention
tab, playback will start auto-
m atically).
To start playback
P ress PLAY.
P layback will start.
" " will appear on the screen
for about 4 seconds.
P ress STOP once.
T he tape will stop but rem ain
fully loaded and ready to play.
" " will appear on the screen
for about 4 seconds.
S top the playback or recording with STOP.
To rewind the tape:
P ress REW.
T o stop the tape-winding, press STOP. T o switch to playba ck
directly (without STOP), press PLAY.
Forward/Reverse picture search mode
W hen the tape is being winded, you can switch to picture sea rch
m ode (see next page). T o do this, press REW or FF and hold it
down. T he unit will resum e the tape winding as soon as the button
is released.
To forward the tape:
P ress FF.
