Click [OK] in the [Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)] dialog box, click [OK] in the

[Ethernet Properties] dialog box (Windows 7; in the [Local Area Connection Properties]

dialog box), and then click [Close] in the [Ethernet Status] dialog box (Windows 7; in

the [Local Area Connection Status] dialog box).

Select [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/

IPv4)] and then click [Properties].

If the check box for [Internet Protocol] is unselected,

then click and check the box.

The [Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)] dialog

box will appear.

Select [Use the following IP address]. Enter

the information as shown below, and then

[OK].

[IP address]: 192.168.0.XXX

[Subnet mask]: 255.255.255.0

Here, "XXX" can be any number between 1 and 254.

However, be sure to avoid the numbers overlapping

with those for other computers or devices.
