7. If the solenoid does not hold in
the low idle position, remove
plug P6 from control PC board
and wait for about 30 seconds.
8. If the engine drops to low idle,
check for damage or a buildup
of conductive materials on or
around the bypass filter assem-
bly and the output terminals.
See wiring diagram.
9. Note: The bypass filter assem-
bly is connected between the
output terminals. See wiring
diagram.
10. If the engine still does not drop
to low idle, the control PC
board is probably defective.
Replace it.
