Voice
The functions on the Voice tab allow users to enable or disable the automatic
announcement of their Net2Phone account balance. It also allows users to
program phone numbers that can be dialed quickly using "shortcuts". Ten
different numbers can be input for speed dial through the Voice Enabler.
To hear your account balance at the beginning of every phone call:
Choose Enable to hear your Net2Phone Account Balance when you make a
call. If you choose Disable, this announcement will not be made.
To program the Speed Dial option:
1. Enter the shortcut for the first telephone number you wish to program
into the first available Speed Dial box.
2. Enter the telephone number associated with that shortcut in the correspon-
ding phone number box.
3. Enter a description for the number in the Description box.
4. When calling, pick up the receiver and dial the shortcut of the telephone
number you wish to call. For example, the shortcut shown above would
be "*1". Your shortcut can be any combination of numbers and symbols
found on the telephone keypad, and does not have to begin with the "*"
character.

a link to Linksys's website, the application that upgrades the Voice Enabler's
firmware, as well as a link to Net2Phone's website for Net2Phone account
management.
N N o o t t e e : : Your current configuration settings for the Voice
Enabler may be lost during a firmware upgrade. You
should record all of your settings in a safe place before
beginnng the upgrade.
To upgrade the Voice Enabler's firmware:
1. Download the latest firmware version from the Linksys website
(www.linksys.com).
2. Go to the Help screen (above).
