Sectors

Sector
The camera's pan capability is divided into equal sectors (2, 4, 8, 16), as defined in PTZ
Settings > Number of sectors, for a total of 360°.
To define a title for sectors:

No white light
Specifically for MIC cameras using the IR/White light illuminator:
Select this check box to prevent activation of the White light illuminator in the corresponding
sectors, such as those which include highways / roads where White light might create a
hazardous situation such as blinding a driver.
When this check box is selected, no White lights will activate for Presets stored in the
corresponding sector.

Miscellaneous

Fast address
This parameter allows the appropriate camera to be operated via the numerical address in the
control system. Enter a number between 0000 and 9999, inclusive, to identify the camera.

Illuminator/Wiper

The illuminator fields are available only when an illuminator is attached to a MIC camera.
The default intensity for illumination (both IR and White light) is 33%.
IR mode
Select the appropriate IR mode to control the IR illuminators:
IR operation range
Select the appropriate range of operation for the IR illuminator:
Maximum IR intensity
Select the percentage of maximum intensity of the infrared (IR) light, from 0 to 100.
Bosch Security Systems
Place the cursor in the input box to the right of the sector number.
Type a title for the sector, up to 20 characters long.
To blank the sector, click the check box to the right of the sector title.
Off - This mode turns off the illuminators.
Auto - This mode activates the 850 nm IR array in low-light scenes (for example, at night),
and deactivates the IR array in scenes with bright light (for example, during a sunny day).
Auto (covert only) - This mode activates the 940 nm IR array, and functions as Auto does.
