6 INSTALLATION

The fitter must have the Jøtul certificate, authorising
installation of appliances fired with solid fuel.

6.1 LEVELLING OF STOVE

The stove must be positioned horizontally and vertically
by means of a level gauge. Levelling can be adjusted by
means of adjustable feet (fig. 6.1). Unscrew the feet until
the mounted nuts are reached.

6.2 CONNECTIONS

6.2.1 Electrical connection
It is enough to connect the stove to the electrical grid by
means of a plug.
The electrical connection (socket) must be easily
accessible after installation of the stove and must remain
visible.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified technician in order to avoid risk.
6.2.1.1 Grounding
The installation must strictly be equipped with grounding
and a breaker switch in accordance with binding standards
(fig. 6.2).
The metal chimney flue must have its own connection to
ground.
6.2.2 Connection to an external chronothermostat
It is possible to connect an external chronothermostat,
which extinguishes and ignites the stove depending on
the programmed temperature.
