IBM Coordinated Font Set

The IBM Coordinated Font Set is supported in only in the following Code Page sets: Latin 1 Country
Extended Code Pages, Latin 1 EBCDIC Publishing Code Pages, Latin 1 ASCII, and Latin EBCDIC DCF
code pages. See Appendix B.4 IBM Core Interchange Scalable Font Set, on page 97 for a complete listing
of fonts.
These fonts are scalable. To access the fonts above, you must set the Font Type under Option Card
Menu > IPDS MENU > EMULATION to Use Scalable and specify the FGID and the width or point
size in the IPDS job.
Boldface and APL fonts are only supported using bitmaps from the Compatibility Font Sets.
If an FGID is not available, the font will be mapped to another font either at the host or in the printer
using a font best-fit algorithm.

These fonts are scalable. To access the fonts below, you must set the Font Type under Option Card
Menu > IPDS MENU > EMULATION to Use Scalable and specify the FGID and the width or point
size in the IPDS job.
