If the SHDSL cables are laid outdoors, voltage surges, for example as a result of lightning strikes
are possible. To avoid dangerous voltage surges, additional lightning protection measures
need to be taken, for example by installing additional lightning protectors.
The following lightning protectors from DEHN are suitable:
• 2-wire operation: BXT ML2 B 180, article number 920 211
• 4-wire operation: BXT ML4 BD HF 24, article number 920 375
