Cascading SHDSL
Wire up the second terminal block (X2) of the device to the first terminal block (X1) of the
next device.
Ring redundancy with SHDSL
The Rapid Spanning Tree protocol runs only on the SHDSL interfaces. If you wire the DHDSL
interfaces to form a ring (see figure) you must not interconnect the Ethernet interfaces of
these devices that are in the same VLAN as the SHDSL interfaces. Otherwise this leads to the
formation of loops.
