Enabling / Disabling Auto Power Off
To prevent unnecessary power consumption, this instrument features an Auto Power Off function that
automatically turns the power off if the instrument is not operated for a specified period of time
(30 minutes). With default, it is set to On, however, the setting can be changed with the [FUNCTION]
button (page 29).
Disabling Auto Power Off
1.
When the instrument is turned on, turn off the power.
2.
Turn the power back on while holding down the lowest key on the keyboard.
Enabling Auto Power Off
To enable the Auto Power Off function, change the setting via the Function mode (page 29) or initialize
the instrument (page 30).
NOTICE
• Some of the data of this instrument (page 30) are retained when the power is turned off.
• If your instrument is connected to other equipment such as amplifiers and speakers but you do not intend
to use it for 30 minutes, we recommend that you turn off all devices as described in the corresponding
owner's manuals. Doing so eliminates the risk of damage to the other equipment. If you do not want the
instrument to turn off automatically when connected to other equipment, disable the Auto Power Off
function.
