What's Involved?
Repacking your printer for shipment involves the following steps. Each is
described in more detail in the following sections.
Obtain Proper Packaging:
Original packaging or replacement packaging
magicolor 2300 DL Replacement Packaging Kit 2600723-100
magicolor 2350 Replacement Packaging Kit 2600723-200, or
magicolor 2300W Replacement Packaging Kit 2600723-300
Repacking kit
magicolor 2300 Series Repacking Kit 2600733-100
Prepare the Printer for Shipment:
A. Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and remove the
interface cables.
B. Remove the media and the tray 1 media support.
C. Remove the duplex option and lower feeder unit, if attached,
and repack them separately.
D. Remove the waste toner bottle, plug the openings, and
dispose of it according to your local regulations.
E. Remove the OPC drum cartridge and repack it.
F. Remove the transfer belt and repack it.
G. Insert the fuser separators.
H. Repack the printer for shipment.
I. Repack the OPC drum cartridge and transfer belt for
shipment.
A. Turn off the Printer, Unplug the Power Cord, and
Remove the Interface Cables
