Description
In case of equipment malfunction, check the front-panel indicators. Reference Table 5.
Since O3-4D1L3 and O3-4D1 units are used to extend DS1 circuits, they pass on network
timing. As a result, standard T1 test sets might need to be provisioned for INTERNAL
timing rather than Loop timing, as shown in Figure 9.
If an optical connector exhibits transmission loss, clean it carefully using approved
fiber-cleaning methods and materials.
